National Waste Management Plan for a Circular Economy Plan

We were privileged to design the National Waste Management Plan for a Circular Economy, an important 8 volume publication, produced for the Regional Waste Management Planning Offices over a six month period, and launched in March 2024.

My Open Library - LGMA

My Open Library is an initiative of Libraries Ireland being rolled out nationwide. Public libraries operating My Open Library offer extended open hours, using a mix of staffed and unstaffed self-service hours. During unstaffed hours, registered My Open Library members can access any library from 8.00 am to 10.00 pm every day, including weekends. Southern were commissioned to design the My Open Library brand, and we created an identity that vibrantly captures the service’s essence; open, friendly, accessible… and timely!

Limerick Student City

Limerick is such a vibrant, student-friendly city, offering a lifestyle, amenities and visitor attractions to match the best in Europe. Limerick Marketing rightly wanted to amplify this message to attract students to come to study here and came to Southern to bring ‘Limerick Student City’ to noisy life.

We created the original ‘Limerick Student City’ identity in 2018, and gave it a complete revamp in 2021, to chime with the newly-launched ‘Limerick – Edge Embrace’ brand. Alongside, we developed a range of campaign promotions and assets, that slingshotted Limerick Student City right around student populations in Ireland and abroad.

Spark Dublin

Spark, Dublin’s public service innovation space, which opened in 2023, promotes innovation across Local Government. Our client, the Local Government Management Agency (LGMA) needed a brand to suitably inspire and ignite, and Southern created a solution that also extended to designing the sleek and restful interior, including all wall and glass surfaces.
