Keeping a strong and recognisable brand online isn’t just about making everything look the same—it’s about being consistent while shaping our messages to fit the unique vibe of each platform. Every digital channel serves a specific purpose, and yes, it can feel overwhelming with all the tools and platforms out there—especially in a fast-paced digital reality—with more and more platforms emerging, each vying for attention with its unique audience and way of working.

But it’s not as complicated as it seems, with the answer often simpler than we think: it starts with understanding what each platform brings to the table—its audience, tone, philosophy, and key metrics. Combine that with clear business objectives, and you’ll know exactly where to focus your energy and why.

Here’s where many stumble: treating all platforms the same. Each channel has its own strengths and quirks. LinkedIn isn’t Instagram, and a blog post won’t turn heads on TikTok. Copy-pasting content across platforms won’t cut it. Instead, the goal is to adapt and create content that fits naturally on each platform while staying true to your brand’s story.

This is where digital expertise steps in. It’s about blending strategy with creative—crafting visuals and copy that tell the same story in different ways, tailored to each channel. The real trick is staying flexible, speaking to your audience in a way that feels authentic and in sync with where they are.

It’s not about being everywhere at once. Our advice is the same for all our clients: if you don’t have the time, skills, or resources to maintain a presence across multiple channels, focus on a few and do them well. Quality always beats quantity.

And one last thing: be authentic. People can tell the difference.

The Crescent Autumn-Winter Season Launch was a spectacular event, and we were thrilled to be part of it at the Crescent Shopping Centre. This season’s launch was bigger and better than ever, featuring a stunning live fashion show with male and female models showcasing an impressive range of styles.

The event highlighted the latest trends, offering something for everyone and celebrating the diversity of Autumn-Winter fashion. It was an exciting way to welcome the new season in style!

Southern was delighted to help produce videography of the event.

The final calendar event in the national Right to Read programme for 2024 is Family Time at Your Library.  Like the preceding three phases, the aim of the Family Time  is engagement with reading – one of the key components to early development.  It also encourages reading by adults to children, to help them begin their lifelong journey with literature.

Our work for the Family Time at Your Library  included animations, stamp cards, posters, banners and social media asset creation.

Carlow has long been recognised for its tradition of good food and warm hospitality, a heritage that stretches back decades.

As part of celebrating this legacy, we’ve produced a series of videos to showcase the culinary highlights Carlow has to offer today. In this first installment, we visit Teach Dolmain Bar and Restaurant.

Teach Dolmain’s restaurants offer sumptuous cuisine crafted with ingredients sourced from trusted local suppliers. Committed to promoting locally produced food, this dedication is reflected in their thoughtfully curated menus. With a strong emphasis on quality, the restaurants exclusively use 100% Irish beef and work with Feile Bia approved suppliers, ensuring exceptional standards in every dish.”

Limerick person of the month Roisin Ni Riain Southern

The Limerick Person of the Month award is sponsored by the Southern, Limerick Leader and the Clayton Hotel.

Paralympian Róisín Ní Ríain has been named Limerick Person of the Month for her incredible achievements in the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games.

The Drombanna native won both silver and bronze medals in the Paralympics, in the 100m S13 backstroke and the 200m SM13 individual medley categories, respectively.

These awards are in recognition of a Limerick person or group who best exemplifies the spirit of Limerick.

Each of the twelve monthly award recipients are celebrated and one is chosen as the Limerick Person of the Year – a representative of all our monthly winners.

We were honored to contribute to a wonderful fundraising night at Bunratty Manor in aid of Multiple Myeloma Ireland. Supporting such a great cause was a privilege, and we were delighted to assist with videography and editing for the legendary song.

Events like this highlight the power of community in raising awareness and funds for vital organizations.”
