Spring into Storytime is one of the four calendar events of Right to Read, a programme by Libraries Ireland to promote literacy and reading development for people of all ages, and particularly children. Southern were asked to create the branding for each of the four 2021 events. Our theme for all is how books open a world of imagination and companionship. Featuring the beautiful work of illustrator Jennifer Farley, Spring into Storytime has each child immersed in the world of their book, accompanied by their favourite character.

Summer Stars has been ongoing throughout the summer in every library in Ireland, with ‘stars’ earned for every book read. It’s one of the four calendar events of Right to Read, a programme by Libraries Ireland to promote literacy and reading development for people of all ages, and particularly children. Our theme for Summer Stars featured kids floating off on adventures with a bevy of storybook characters. The work consisted of animation, stamp cards, posters, banners and social media.
