Southern Region Waste Management Office’s ‘Do One More Thing’ campaign was about the little things that make a difference. The campaign aimed to encourage people to change just one thing in their daily behavior around use of materials – be it repairing an appliance instead of replacing it, upcycling a favourite coat, or keeping food fresh for one extra day, instead of automatically throwing it out. So much of our behaviour has become automatic and unthinking – Do One More Thing aimed to break the pattern and turn the tide in small increments – the campaign was rolled out in press ads, in factsheets for Schools and through public interaction on the high street.
