What’s a food truck?
That’s a question we – and many others – only vaguely knew the answer to at the start of this branding process, in early 2017. A few short months later (by which time we were all experts), Limerick had played host to Ireland’s inaugural International Food Truck Festival, with over 25 trucks serving deliciously exotic street food to over 30,000 visitors at the People’s Park over 5 days.
Our approach was to create an identity for the festival that would be fun, vibrant, international and above all, welcoming. The identity deliberately lent itself to animation, and we produced a series of suitably playful, engaging and appetising videos which ran online, principally over the Facebook page, which we managed for the festival. Here’s to many more years of yumminess!
