In 2013, we submitted a tender to Limerick Smarter Travel, to brand that year’s Limerick Bike Week. Since the city had recently been designated as one of Ireland’s Smarter Travel Cities, we felt it deserved more.
Our proposal was to move it away from simply being another National Bike Week event and to reimagine it as a true standalone festival.
We reasoned that a festival could become a destination.
It could grow itself.
We needed a name.
We thought: ‘BeSpoke’.
We created the brand identity, brochures, leaflets, merchandising, as well as press and radio advertising. The festival has firmly established itself, and has grown year-on year.
